I was pressed against two readers on the train in today. One was reading Kant's Groundwork for the Metaphysics of Morals, and I was so close to him that I could see where his eyes fell on the page. He was reading intelligently - stuck on the sentence that sticks.
The other was reading a legal brief that cited to a case written by a judge I've appeared before.
The whole world: kin.
