What could be harder than writing - productive, technical, mind-changing writing?  The gathering of materials and their selection, the mixing of these materials into thought, almost like the combination of cement mix and water.  Then the kneading, working, coaxing of this material into shapes - shapes that are discovered in the shaping.  And then, the rediscovery of your voice as you trowel the shaped material into final form.
