curmudgeon

A high school student passes me on the street and his tshirt reads, on its back, that "it is better to have what one does not need, than to need what one does not have."  And who could argue with that?  One who questions the general ability to register need, to count the cost of surplus, and to anticipate the options of improvisation or later supply.  That's who.
