Bach could not have written for the journey, yet he wrote to flight, by TGV, by jet. Let fields or clouds fly past the window as one hears what is baroque, as one sees what is sped up, yet calm, crowded with life and arrangement. Nature itself is baroque when passed by with attentive reality.
